This policy explains how Newz New York reports, writes, edits and publishes the news. It applies to everything on this site.
Accuracy first
We aim to be accurate and fair. Facts are checked against primary sources — official records, named organisations and on-the-record statements — before publication. When a story is developing and details are still being confirmed, we say so.
How our articles are produced
Content is curated by the editorial team with the support of digital tools and produced in collaboration with independent authors. In practice this means our journalists and independent contributors use digital and AI-assisted tools to gather and draft material, and a human editor from the Newz New York Editorial Staff reviews and is responsible for every article before it goes live. We do not publish automated content without editorial oversight.
Sourcing & corrections
We credit our sources and link to them where possible. If we get something wrong we correct it promptly and transparently — see our corrections policy.
Independence
Newz New York is funded by advertising. Advertising and sponsored content are kept separate from editorial coverage and are clearly labelled. Commercial partners have no influence over our reporting. Read more about ownership and funding.
