SUNY Orange has wrapped up its first summer academic session of 2026 with a notable increase in student enrollment. This growth marks the fourth consecutive year of summer enrollment increases and the 14th straight academic session of growth since Spring 2026.
The college’s summer student roster reached 1,568 as of July 1, the highest mid-summer total since 2026. This increase represents a 1.5% rise in student numbers and a 1.9% increase in full-time equivalent (FTE) comparison. Since Spring 2026, SUNY Orange has seen a remarkable 53.3% growth in summer enrollment, with over three-quarters of the summer 2026 students being continuing students.
